African Bey King, our 100% Old English stallion will be expecting his first foals in 2017.
He was bred by Miss Jane Pointer of Cranham Arabian Stud and was bought as a weanling by Moonlight Arabians. He takes his colour from his sire African Emir, tracing back to Misery, and the illustrious Queen of Sheba. African Bey King has just begun his ridden career and has a very trainable temperament with an aptitude for jumping.
He is a horse with overall good conformation and a particularly well laid-back shoulder which makes him a very comfortable ride. He is bold but sensible, traits that he has passed on to all his part bred and pure Arab foals. They have gone on to be all round family horses and endurance prospects.
His worst fault is throwing his hay over the stable door as soon as the yard has been swept! African Bey King is unshown to date but was selected for the 2013 World Crabbet convention in the rare Naufal family Group.
